M.E History
Our practice and products are inspired from an incredibly rare experience; when three, already giant Monstera Deliciosa plants in our home in Glasgow, bloomed, flowered and fruited.
The fruits of the flower appeared out of nowhere, with so much cosmic energy, and were shaped, undoubtedly like something to be played with, shared and cherished.
These super-nature gifts were so utterly mesmerising and horny, they compelled us to preserve and share the Monstera fruits incredible shapes, textures and energy.
We spent time considering how to honour and work with these supernatural offerings. As artists and lovers; we ultimately took inspiration from this horny fruitful event to center the beauty and queerness of nature, in objects that might bring joy and sexual exploration to others.
Through this process we made a commitment to celebrate cosmic creation; offering handmade sex toys, stylish merch and unique collaborations with artists and makers from our expansive community.
We want to center queer beauty beside the beauty of nature, to offer objects to enhance our thriving lives, and crucially amplify healthy, natural and cosmic sex.
The MONSTERA
Our first and signature product: The Monstera, has been handcast directly from these Monstera Deliciosa fruits.
This cast has then been refined, reworked and developed so that we can now offer to you in it’s body safe silicone form; just as super-nature intended.
You can choose your Monstera from our ready-made collections, with colour combinations selected by us, and some of our amazing creative collaborators.
We always have ready-made stock available on our M.E SHOP, or you can customise your own that will be made to order.
All our products can be made in your choice of colours.
Customising
Colour is key to our designs; whether we choose them or you choose them, each of our products will have completely unique looks.
You can select up to 5 colours, and these options are available on our M.E SHOP and by using our CUSTOM ORDER FORM you can send us your colour choices, and we will custom make your order.
We hand make every product in Glasgow, Scotland.
